The Skyvia team is looking for a Technical Writer to join Skyvia Technical Writers team. In this role, you will work on documentation, create technical content, describe new product features, update and create product pages. Skyvia is a universal no-coding cloud platform for data integration, backup, management, and connectivity. Skyvia supports 160+ connectors, including major cloud apps (CRMs, Marketing tools, Support systems, Management platforms, etc.), databases, and data warehouses.
Responsibilities
- Create, update, refactor, and improve the quality of documentation.
- Create video Content for Skyvia’s YouTube channel
- Create video Content for marketplaces
- Create UX text copies for interfaces
- Proofread articles written by external and internal authors
- Prepare release notes
- Create and update content for the Skyvia website
- Create diverse content for Partnership campaigns and activities
- Collaborate with the Design team to create visual compositions
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer
- Advanced level of English
- Familiarity with common writing style guides and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple words
- Proven experience of working with the documentation structure
- An ability to process large volumes of data and highlight the main ideas clearly
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Markdown
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Jira
- Basic knowledge of one of the programming languages
- Knowledge of DBMS, Cloud Storage, Client-Server Architecture, SDLC
Nice to have
- Knowledge of one of the programming languages

- Understanding of SQL, database theory
